Graco® SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 Nor-Cal Event

Last week I had the opportunity to attend a Graco event hosted by the SITS Girls featuring Graco’s new infant car seat, the SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40.

Graco is the leading brand of car seats, so it was no surprise that Graco came out with the ONLY infant car seat that protects rear-facing babies up to 2 years old after the American Academy of Pediatrics stated “…toddlers are more than five times safer riding rear facing in a car seat. They should stay rear facing until 2 years of age.”

We travel constantly with the busy schedules of a large family, and it’s comforting to know our new baby girl is now protected with the safety features recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

Additional features of the Graco® SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 include:

  • 4 – 40 pound weight limit— a full 2 years
  • Base adjusts with 8 recline positions for most leg room of any rear-facing car seat for baby comfort
  • The Simply Safe Adjust™ harness systems allows parents to adjust the harness and headrest with just one hand to fit their baby’s height as their baby grows, all without having to rethread the harness for extra convenience.
  • Click Connect™ attachment which allows parents to easily transition their babies from the car seat to the stroller through a simple, but secure, one-step “click.”

Grace’s First Ride in her New Infant Car Seat

The SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 comes with plenty of padding and cushion for small babies like Grace who is only 8 weeks old.

As you can see by the smiles on her adorable face below, Grace felt more than comfortable riding in her new infant seat for the first time. Since the padding is removable, this infant seat will grow with her through the years making it the only infant seat she will ever need.

The Graco SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 – the first and only newborn to two-year infant car seat that actually grows with your baby from four pounds all the way up to 40 pounds. The car seat is designed for a parent on the go. The infant car seat can be easily removed from the base and used as a carrier when the infant is small, providing portability and convenience so you can easily move your infant in and out of the car without disturbing them.

The American Academy of Pediatrics recently made the recommendation to keep all children in rear-facing car seats until the age of 2. Graco set out to make this product so parents can keep infants rear facing longer while still keeping them comfortable.

Graco® SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 Nor-Cal Event Photos

Graco Event

The gorgeous group photo of all the beautiful moms (and babies) who attended the Graco® SnugRide® Click Connect™ 40 Nor-Cal Event. It was absolutely wonderful to meet such an amazing group of women, and I can’t wait to see everyone again. Thank you to everyone who made this event possible!

You will notice Baby Grace and I are not in the picture. No, not because I was the one who took the photo, but because my sweet little angel decided to throw up on both of us as we were gathering for the photo. Yes, I was THAT mom whose baby did that. Sigh…

A portion of this event’s photographs were taken by the amazingly talented Leslie Callan of Green Vintage Photography.

  1. She looks so sweet in her seat! Nice to meet you. She might have thrown up but there is photographic evidence of mine screaming from bopping his face on the table.. : )

  2. Hello stacy, I am expecting twins in february and wanted to get 2 click connect 40s, im concerned that a double stroller, that is compatible, may not exist. Have you heard if this is an option Thank you!!

    • Hi Valerie,

Congratulations on having twins! Twins are such a blessing!

Currently we have the Graco Ready2Grow Stand and Ride 12 in 1 stroller. This stroller does hold two car seats but we are only using one car seat now as our twins are older. I will say I LOVE this stroller and recommend it to everyone. It is a double stroller, but it has the wheelbase of a single stroller which is easier to fit in a vehicle.

The Click Connect 40 does fit in this stroller the way a Snugride seat fits. Our only complaint about how the car seat fits in this stroller is that the seat leans back father than we are used to with a Sungride.

If you want to try out the combination with two car seats, I would suggest calling a local Toys R Us (they sell both the Click Connect 40 car seats and the Ready2Grow Stand and Ride 12 in 1 stroller) and see how they fit for you. You’ll be the one who will spend the most time with the stroller/car seat combination and you need to be comfortable with it.

I’m happy to answer any other questions you may have too!
