DIY Halloween Pillar Candle Holders

I love Halloween decorations almost as much as I love Halloween, but holiday decorations can be expensive. This year though, with help from the dollar store and Martha Stewart Glass Paints, I decided I was going to make some of our holiday decorations to save us a little money.

Misc. Dollar Store Halloween Decorations

Directions:

  1. Wipe Glass Pillar Candle Holders with rubbing alcohol to clean.

  3. Assemble Glass Spray Paint Kit and mix color as instructed on the box. For this project, I used 1/2 a tbsp of color with 1/2 a tablespoon of medium.
  4. Spray Glass Pillar Candle Holder with first color staying below the Patterning Tape, spraying a heavier, thicker coat at the bottom of the glass and gradually lightening the coverage as you work your way up the glass creating a gradient effect. If any paint goes above the Patterning Tape, quickly wipe with rubbing alcohol to remove excess paint.DIY Halloween Pillar Candle Holders
  5. Let dry as directed.
  6. Wash Glass Spray Paint Kit.
  7. Repeat step #2 through #4 to mix and apply a layer of fine glitter.DIY Halloween Pillar Candle Holders
  8. Let dry as directed.
  9. Wash Glass Spray Paint Kit.
  10. Add Halloween Decorations to finish.DIY Halloween Pillar Candle Holders
